SNOMED CT
Standardised clinical terminology — more granular than ICD, used in EHRs.
SNOMED CT is a comprehensive clinical-terminology system used to encode patient findings, diagnoses, procedures and observations in EHRs. It's more granular and clinically expressive than ICD, which is why most EHRs store SNOMED internally and translate to ICD for billing.
European scribes (e.g. Haidy / 44ai) often lead with SNOMED support; US scribes tend to centre on ICD and CPT.
