Zero-retention
A policy where vendor immediately deletes audio and / or notes after use.
Zero-retention (or "audio-zero-retention") policies have the vendor delete the raw audio and sometimes the generated note after transcription, so PHI doesn't linger in the vendor's systems. It's a credible signal of a privacy-forward architecture and reduces the breach blast radius.
